En ces temps de vacances, peu de nos lecteurs (la majorit\u00e9 \u00e9tant probablement \u00e0 la plage, \u00e0 la campagne ou \u00e0 la montagne) \u00e9taient en situation d\u2019arpenter les rues de Bourg-la-Reine ou Fontenay-aux-Roses (le texte accompagnant la photo myst\u00e8re pr\u00e9cisait qu\u2019il ne s\u2019agissait pas de Sceaux ni de Ch\u00e2tenay-Malabry). Il s\u2019en est tout de m\u00eame trouv\u00e9 qui se sont pr\u00eat\u00e9s au jeu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une lectrice (Astrid Menant) a envisag\u00e9 la ville du Plessis-Robinson, mais il lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 qu\u2019il s\u2019agissait d\u2019une fausse piste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jean-Claude Herrenschmidt en a d\u00e9duit qu\u2019il s\u2019agissait de Fontenay-aux-Roses, mais la Gazette l\u2019a alert\u00e9 sur le fait qu\u2019il y avait un choix entre deux villes.  Une telle intervention laissait supposer que la solution \u00e9tait plut\u00f4t \u00e0 chercher \u00e0 Bourg-la-Reine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le m\u00eame intervenant soulignait qu\u2019il fallait chercher un endroit construit avant 1900 et observait que le motif visible sur la photo \u00e9voquait les beaux quartiers. Deux pr\u00e9cisions qui conduisaient tout droit au centre-ville de Bourg-la-Reine. Plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment rue Ravon, une rue parall\u00e8le au Boulevard Carnot et situ\u00e9e imm\u00e9diatement au nord de celui-ci. Elle d\u00e9bouche sur la place Condorcet. Mais l\u2019immeuble photographi\u00e9, situ\u00e9 au 3, se trouve \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 imm\u00e9diate de l\u2019avenue de la R\u00e9publique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u2019o\u00f9 vient ce nom de Ravon\u00a0? Yvon Bellec, \u00e0 qui on doit la photo, explique que Pierre Ravon, fut maire de la commune de 1851 \u00e0 1864<\/a>. Selon Bourg-la-Reine\u00a0: essai d\u2019histoire locale<\/em> de Paul Lieuter, le conseil municipal a adopt\u00e9 en f\u00e9vrier 1854 le trac\u00e9 de nouvelles voies, dont la future rue Ravon. En reconnaissance de son r\u00f4le comme maire et promoteur du d\u00e9veloppement communal, le nom de Pierre Ravon a \u00e9t\u00e9 plus tard donn\u00e9 \u00e0 la rue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u2019immeuble situ\u00e9 au 3 rue Ravon fait partie des b\u00e2timents remarquables de la ville. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7u \u00e0 la fin du XIXe si\u00e8cle par l\u2019architecte Edouard Lewicki. La fa\u00e7ade d\u00e9cor\u00e9e de c\u00e9ramiques est due aux fa\u00efenciers G. Broccard et Leclerc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On notera que l\u2019immeuble vit la naissance de Louis Joxe (1901-1991) r\u00e9sistant et ministre. Il abrita aussi la poste au d\u00e9but du XXe si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
