Mais comme l\u2019avenue est \u00e0 fort trafic, le hasard n\u2019en \u00e9tait qu\u2019un demi. Cela ne m\u2019en rappela pas moins la lecture d\u2019articles sur ces v\u00e9hicules l\u00e9gers interm\u00e9diaires, autrement nomm\u00e9s VELI. Ces pots de yaourt sur roues\u00a0ont des soutiens qui avancent des arguments articul\u00e9s. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Car l\u2019AMI n\u2019est pas seule sur le cr\u00e9neau. Elle est concurrenc\u00e9e par des v\u00e9hicules tout aussi con\u00e7us pour les d\u00e9placements urbains et comme une alternative \u00e9cologique aux voitures traditionnelles. Et le positionnement a de nombreux supporters. Ce n\u2019est pas un hasard si on a la Renault Twizy 45 ou l\u2019in\u00e9galable Microlino (on entre par devant\u00a0!). Il y en a s\u00fbrement d\u2019autres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En fait la cat\u00e9gorie des VELI est large. Entre le v\u00e9lo classique et la voiture, on trouve les v\u00e9los \u00e0 assistance \u00e9lectrique, v\u00e9los motoris\u00e9s, v\u00e9los sp\u00e9ciaux, tricycles, v\u00e9los cargo, quadricycles, handbikes, v\u00e9lomobiles, v\u00e9lo-voitures, microvoitures, tricycles prot\u00e9g\u00e9s, voiturettes et mini-voitures. C\u2019est dans cette diversit\u00e9 que sont plac\u00e9s les espoirs de d\u00e9croissance de la voiture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mais pour en revenir \u00e0 notre petit cube pr\u00e9nomm\u00e9 AMI par Citron et \u00e0 ses semblables, retenons qu\u2019ils sont homologu\u00e9s comme quadricycles. Les vitesses sont en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral limit\u00e9es \u00e0 45km\/h, on peut les conduire sans permis d\u00e8s 14 ans (il existe des variantes \u00e0 90km\/h avec permis, mais par grand vent, il faudrait v\u00e9rifier qu\u2019on ne d\u00e9colle pas). Ces v\u00e9hicules des plus \u00ab&nbsp;l\u00e9gers&nbsp;\u00bb (comprendre tr\u00e8s fragile et d\u2019un int\u00e9rieur ultra d\u00e9pouill\u00e9) ont une autonomie annonc\u00e9e de 70km ou plus, mais selon les commentaires, on peut la diviser par deux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">L\u2019inconv\u00e9nient du b\u00e9n\u00e9fice<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Les promoteurs de ces sortes de <em>transformers<\/em> des ann\u00e9es 80 entendent diminuer voire combattre les nuisances directes des voitures (pollution, bruit, ins\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re), mais aussi indirectes (urbanisme d\u00e9gradant le cadre de vie, relations de voisinage diminu\u00e9es). Ils d\u00e9noncent l\u2019augmentation de 25 % du prix des voitures en 10 ans, du fait de sur\u00e9quipements, de l\u2019usage g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9 de semi-conducteurs et de mat\u00e9riaux critiques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les voitures classiques sont lourdes et larges pour des raisons de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, habitabilit\u00e9, confort, design et de normes. Les VELI r\u00e9duisent le poids en limitant la vitesse et les accessoires. Mais du coup, on ne partira pas en vacances, on n\u2019ira pas embrasser la grand-m\u00e8re qui habite \u00e0 300km \u00e0 bord de cet escargot de la route sans place pour les valises. Ce transport strictement urbain sous-entend donc une autre voiture ou le recours \u00e0 d\u2019autres modes de transport comme le train. On entre alors dans les arcanes de \u00ab&nbsp;l\u2019intermodal&nbsp;\u00bb dont on sait combien il n\u00e9cessite des infrastructures, des \u00e9l\u00e9ments humains, techniques pour se d\u00e9velopper. Les correspondances, ce n\u2019est d\u00e9j\u00e0 pas \u00e9vident avec le train, alors s\u2019il faut changer de \u00ab&nbsp;vecteur&nbsp;\u00bb. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Changer d&rsquo;imaginaire<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un autre point. Pour que les bienfaits de ces transports sobres emportent le c\u0153ur des foules, il faudrait s\u00e9rieusement \u00ab&nbsp;d\u00e9construire l\u2019Imaginaire&nbsp;\u00bb selon l\u2019\u00e9l\u00e9gante expression en vigueur dans la presse, sacr\u00e9ment retravailler la publicit\u00e9 automobile. Finis la lascivit\u00e9, l\u2019\u00e9loge du confort et de l\u2019espace, le r\u00eave des grandes trajectoires, l\u2019infinie subtilit\u00e9 des carrosseries. Il faudrait \u00ab&nbsp;vendre&nbsp;\u00bb le simple, le d\u00e9pouill\u00e9, l\u2019effort et la marche \u00e0 pied. Pas gagn\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conscients de cet obstacle, les partisans des VELI consid\u00e8rent qu\u2019il vaut mieux cibler les nouveaux usagers, ceux qui n\u2019ont pas encore pris leurs aises dans les habitacles dernier cri. Ils imaginent aussi des dispositifs pour booster le march\u00e9&nbsp;: aides \u00e0 l\u2019achat, bonus \u00e9cologique, malus pour les voitures. Mieux&nbsp;: des infrastructures ad hoc avec des voies r\u00e9serv\u00e9es aux VELI, une am\u00e9lioration des r\u00e9seaux cyclables, une offre de stationnement \u00e9toff\u00e9e, et bien s\u00fbr (est-ce l\u2019id\u00e9e de la mairie de Paris avec les 50km\/h sur le p\u00e9riph) mod\u00e9rer la vitesse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019ami avec lequel je prenais un d\u00e9ca au caf\u00e9 des Deux gares, celui qui fait l\u2019angle avec la rue Ren\u00e9 Roeckel, n\u2019y croit pas une minute. Il conna\u00eet le coin par c\u0153ur. Ce n\u2019est pas demain qu\u2019il verra d\u00e9filer des v\u00e9los avec ou sans moteur, des v\u00e9los cargo, voiturettes et \u00ab&nbsp;des caisses \u00e0 savon&nbsp;\u00bb sur le D920, l\u2019avenue de la Division Leclerc \u00e0 Ch\u00e2tenay ou la D63 qui longe Sceaux et traverse Fontenay. Ce n\u2019est pas qu\u2019il ait un avis tranch\u00e9. Il n\u2019a rien contre \u00ab&nbsp;<em>les pots de yaourt et les biclous<\/em>&nbsp;\u00bb par principe.
